The orphan God - Republished in 2018

⇧ SECTION LISTING

Behind the greatest man is said to be a watchful woman
Inside of every woman sleeps a wondrous child
Within her child unfold the genes of marvellous moons
Below the highest moons can sigh the heart of deepest oceans
Beneath the waves will flow the dreams of ancient milk
Towards the surface runs the edge of birth and life
Along the streams are shining specks and seeds of suns
Before the stars and planets there exists an orphan god
Above this god but never stooped his folks and older Granny
Without a dad that would explain to him
Even gods should pray to hear and heed the wisdom worth a mother
Without a mom that would unveil to him
The way a god should speak to woo and win the one to be his willing wife
This is how forlorn he was that came unborn
Such a seeming flaw wasn’t so in fact because he is the vision out of Mary
Like a poet’s soul invoking all the saintly mother tongues
To conjure up his birth and who he is in rhymes and songs
Mary then didn’t rise as Adam’s clone from bones unlike the garden’s Eve
She had to live before a god could dream of being born
So he’d be allowed a lineage through a woman’s womb
Behind the greatest gods of man’s religions is indeed the same eternal woman
